The True Italian Taste project in its America and Europe editions, is promoted and funded by the Italian Ministry of Economic Development and ITA (Italian Trade Agency). It is coordinated by Assocamerestero, an association that brings together 78 Italian Chambers of Commerce in the world. This large network proudly promotes Italy at a global level.
With a presence in 55 countries, with 140 assistance points and 18,000 members, the Chambers of Commerce support the internationalisation of Italian companies, with an approach of open innovation and a powerful capacity to understand and analyse international markets. This is due to their strong roots in foreign countries and close ties with local business communities and institutions.
Indeed, the Chamber of Commerce network has a strong propensity to work with the effectiveness and efficiency typical of a company, a necessary requirement for offering competitive services on the market.
True Italian Taste Europe involves ICCAs in Belgium, France, Germany, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland and UK and also involves other institutional partners: the Italian Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forestry, the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and several foreign organisations.
In promoting all the activities and events included in the Italian programme, Assocamerestero also avails itself of the cooperation of AICIG (Italian Association of Geographical Indication Consortia) and Unioncamere (the Italian Union of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Handicraft and Agriculture), as well as agriculture, food and wine industry associations, export consortia and fairs organising bodies.
